On of my favorite shows, Cash Cab, was featured on the Today show Wednesday morning. If you are not familiar with Cash Cab, it is a game show airing on the Discovery Channel. Host Ben Bailey drives his taxi around New York City and picks up unsuspecting people waiting for a ride. The Cash Cab looks no different than any other cab. Once inside and the riders have given Ben their destination, he turns on the flashing lights and music inside and tells them about the game. He then asks riders trivia questions at 50, 100, and 200 dollar levels until they arrive at their destination. If they get 3 wrong though, he kicks them out of the cab whereever they are. If they get to their destination riders must choose between keeping the money or going for double or nothing on a video bonus question. Riders are also given 2 “shout-outs” for help. Wednesday, Ben Bailey brought the Cash Cab to the Today show and Matt, Meredith, Al, and Ann were given a chance to ride in the cab with the money going to charity.
